There is a significant differences in the various factors from season to season.
You can see that the worst performing season is the summer. Right when we may have a hot summer (like we did in 2010), and everyone’s AC was going full tilt, we have the worst performance of wind. The Median Capacity Factor is a mere 7%. Half the time output is less than 8% name plate.
To rub salt in the wound, the percent of time of no wind is 23%, almost a quarter of the time. Where as the other seasons are all below 15% of the time of no output.
